A Christmas release! ;). Version 0.2.2 brings much enhanced regular expression support as well as environment variable expansion. Have a look at the changelog for more information.

Support for regular expressions in the paths and $ONDIRWD expansion has been added by Arvind. Thanks Arvind, nice one.

On Dir has been completely rewritten in C, making it faster to run and compile. As part of this change, the configuration file format has changed (for the better I hope). It now allows multiple paths to be associated with one enter/leave script.

.onenter/.onleave support can be enabled by compiling with -DUSE_ONENTERLEAVE (or uncommenting this line from conf.h).

21/06/02

New release out today, 0.1.5. The main change is the reintroduction of .onenter/.onleave support, disabled by default. Use -o to enable.

Fixes for compilation problem on OSX (it now compiles on the sourceforge OSX compile farm).

Note to self - DO check the permissions on files before announcing a new release.

Well, here we are on sourceforge.

I think this version (0.1.4) may have broken TCSH compatibility, although I'm not positive. If it does, please tell me what's broken and I'll endeavour to fix it

The major change is the removal of .onenter/.onleave support, due to security considerations. It was just too big a risk to take.

13/12/01

Released 0.1.3 which has the previously mentioned bugfixes as well as a major one fixing a static path to my personal home directory looking for .ondirrc.

13/12/01

(the saga continues)

Neglected to update Makefile.am for 0.1.2 to include several source files. Aggh. Should compile now.

12/12/01

(later that same day)

Fixed incorrect permissions on 0.1.2 preventing download. Whoops.

12/12/01

0.1.2 released. This adds a configuration file which contains shell script commands to execute when entering or leaving a directory. This solves most of the possible security problems. The .onenter and .onleave scripts are still supported.

07/12/01

Released 0.1.1, which fixes a potential security hole relating to group/other write permissions (thanks to Mira TempĂr for picking this up).

06/12/01

Released 0.1.0
